TypelyAI ("we", "our", "the app") is an AI-powered keyboard that helps you draft replies in messaging apps. We take your privacy seriously.

1. Data We Collect

1.1 Screenshots (Transient)

When you tap the AI button, the app captures a screenshot of your current screen. This image is sent to our server, forwarded to OpenAI's API to generate reply suggestions, and immediately discarded. We do not store screenshots.

1.2 Anonymous Account

The app creates an anonymous session with a random identifier (UUID). No personal information is attached — no email, name, or phone number.

1.3 Subscription Status

Purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple via StoreKit. We only read whether you have an active subscription.

1.4 Preferences

Tone preferences and layout settings are stored locally on your device and never leave it.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

No personal information (name, email, phone)
No location data
No keystrokes or typing data
No browsing history
No analytics or tracking
No advertising identifiers

3. Third-Party Services

OpenAI API — processes screenshots to generate replies. API inputs are not used to train models.
Supabase — anonymous authentication. No personal data stored.
Apple StoreKit — handles subscriptions.

4. Data Security

All data is transmitted via HTTPS (TLS 1.2+). Screenshots are processed in memory and never persisted on our servers.

5. Children's Privacy

TypelyAI is not intended for children under 13.
